How can people do this?

Animal Abuse.

Just why? What do they get from abusing and neglecting animals?

We took in some cute little guys this past weekend that were rescued. One is fighting for his life. The original rescuer saved them from being killed after being bait for a dog race.

Please keep this little guy in your thoughts;

If you would like to help these boys all proceeds from the items in my Etsy shop are going towards their vet care!

Etsy Love

I had to share with you all this ring.

Like it? I was on the search for a wedding band when I came across Sheena's Jewelry and all her designs are simple yet elegant. My husband feels pretty cheap just paying $20 but it honestly is nicer than all of the rings I had looked at, including ones in the thousands!

You can see all her amazing designs here; http://www.etsy.com/shop/sheenajewellery

I may have gotten the hugs and kisses ring if it hadn't been for the fact my husband wanted a matching band and I am not sure he could have pulled it off! In the next few weeks we will be ordering his but with the wider band, we both wanted to see what my ring was like before we purchased another. We needn't have worried as when I tore into the packaging and saw it tears welled up! It is such a beautiful piece and I will certainly be dropping hints (and ring sizes!) to my husband to get me the hugs and kisses band for my birthday.

Thank you so much Sheena!

I was not paid or compensated for this post. I purchased the ring and just wanted to share my views with my readers.

Buttons

Well I just adore buttons! I found all of these when I was least expecting it. I never do anything with them but place them in a drawer and when the mood strikes I go and run my hands through them!

What do you like collecting? My other big thing right now is fabric much to the dismay of my husband.

Vintage Goodness

I wanted to share with everyone all of the most amazing vintage goodness from when I went to England. Hopefully I can find all of my other items and post them too sometime.

First is lots of old embroidery threads in the most amazing pastel colors. In some ways I want to use them but in another I want to frame the whole scrumptious box!

Spring has finally arrived

Spring has finally shown its face and appears to be here permanently now. I have spent this morning sowing all my vegetable seeds, whether anything actually grows is another matter! It is rather shady where I planted them but until my husband gets the tiller fixed I am unable to start some veg in a more sunnier location.

Here is the list of the vegetables we gathered last year (feel free to laugh!)

3 Tomatoes
10 Lima Beans
2 Radishes
Turnip Greens
Possibly some beetroot that decided to grow over winter!

How is your spring planting going? What are you growing?
